Woodpecker Infuser Mug (400ml)

This Mug functions extremely well for making tea from loose tea. The filter is large and allows great water flow over the tea and it prevents all of the tea debris from entering the cup. The cup size is very good and the tea cools enough (with the cover on ) during the steeping process to make it drinkable right away.

The only thing that I feel could have been designed better is the handle. I have pictured the only way that I found to hold the cup, by the handle, comfortably. For this reason I gave it 4 stars.

Love this. The style of this tea mug is fabulous for me. It’s thick and keeps my tea hot. The mesh Cylinder is good and strains the herbs I have well. The mug is sturdy and I will give as gifts and get more for guest when they are over.

The design of the tea mug is very modern, the pattern of the filter is very beautiful, the depth of the filter is almost close to the bottom of the tea mug, and it does not require a lot of water to wash the tealeaf. The tea mug cover can be used as a water tray to place the filter. There is an anti-scalding rubber ring around the filter, which is perfectly humanized. At the same time, the wooden handle has an obvious anti-scalding and anti-slip effect. If you like to drink healthy tea, it is recommended to buy it.

Nicely designed and robustly constructed, this tea mug contains a fine mesh metal infuser - made with stainless steel - whose holes create a lovely floral pattern. The infuser's holes are numerous and exceptionally small, so they allow it to capture any tea detritus or small tea leaves, preventing them from entering your finished tea. All that the tea mug contains, once you're finished steeping, is a perfect cup of tea.

The infuser is large enough to allow as many as two or three teaspoons of tea leaves to open fully for effective steeping, which is the secret to making a rich and flavorful cup of tea. The metal lid is heat insulated, keeping the tea hot without burning your fingers when removing it. It's a very clever design.

The wooden handle is well-placed, doesn't heat up so it's easy to grasp, and it looks good on the mug. However, that wooden handle is why it's inadvisable to place this tea mug in the microwave. Invariably, the wood in the handle will absorb moisture so that heating it in a microwave will cause the wood to crack. This mug is easy to clean and it looks quite attractive. It's eminently giftable for any tea-lover that you know.

For as long as I can remember, my mom has always carried around a coffee mug full of tea with loose tea leaves floating in the mug. Her preferred ratio of tea leaves to water is probably 4:1… she loves her tea strong! I’ve gotten her half a dozen tea infuser mugs and pots but she still walks around with her regular coffee mugs. I’m hoping this new tea mug will change her ways.

The mug comes in a beautiful, huggable box. Out of the package, the mug is GORGEOUS. It has a nice weight to it, making it feel like truly a quality product. The wooden handle is substantial and feels good in hand. The mug feels balanced when holding by the handle and I feel I have a good grip on it. The infuser insert is beautiful. Just beautiful! The details are really apparent here. The design is intricate and the lid has a nice weight to it. The whole mug has a quality feel and look. I love the finish on the ceramic mug—the texture makes it look and feel very luxe. This is not your ordinary tea mug. Definitely worth the price tag as it’s apparent it’s made to last.
